SunEnergy1, is currently seeking a Chief Financial Officer to join its senior executive team and help provide strategic and tactical contributions that ensure the company reaches its overall and business objectives.

SunEnergy1 is a rapidly growing solar and clean renewable energy greenfield project developer, installer and owner-operator. The company has seen immense growth in the last few years with a substantial wattage of nationwide projects on its balance sheet, as well as an even bigger pipeline of actionable projects.

With the intense growth that SunEnergy1 has experienced over the last ten years, the incoming CFO will, in addition to joining the senior executive team, optimize the corporate finance and accounting functions, oversee significant project finance matters and help focus the direction of the executive management team.

Reporting to and closely working with the CEO, the CFO will also interact with the executive team, investors, senior lenders, auditors, human resources and investment and commercial bankers. In potential acquisitions, project and portfolio financings (including construction financing, senior debt and tax equity financings) corporate financing and strategic transactions, the CFO will take the financial and accounting leadership role in the origination, negotiation, closing, structuring and reporting associated with them.

Critical to this role is an understanding that the CFO is an active and instrumental part of the business and strategic planning process of the executive. The CFO will lead the financial planning process of SunEnergy1 as well as understanding the operational and sales and marketing strategies of the company and linking the financial planning to those strategies. Accordingly, substantive industry experience in renewable (solar) energy is highly preferred, although similar exposure in other renewable energy sectors, clean tech, P3's and project finance would be considered.

Additionally, the CFO will:

• be responsible for monthly operational metric reporting and analysis of the company’s performance,
• optimize asset utilization,
• manage and maintain the financial and accounting protocols,
• proactively manage financing and banking relationships (including anticipating changing economic, regulatory and legislative conditions), and
• lead the financial team

Successful candidates will bring 15 years of proven success as a financial executive with CFO management responsibility, have a strong technical and accounting background, expertise in project financing (including construction financing, term debt and tax equity structures) and proven leadership skills.
